Halloween 2016

Our lucky kids got to wear two different Halloween costumes this year!  Our buddy, Joe Fisher, came in town from NYC for the weekend and we went to a Halloween party in the neighborhood.  We decided to do a group costume, including the kids, and were 80's exercise people.

This is Parker's buddy Zach from Kindergarten who lives in our neighborhood and was at the party too!

For actual Halloween, I couldn't resist having the kids be in coordinating costumes.  I had decided on a Fireman for Graham, because he loves them!  When we asked Parker what she wanted to be, she initially said Elsa (from Frozen).  This would have been easy since we already have an Elsa dress.  But blah.  And I was hoping they could coordinate.  So I looked up some pictures online for either a dalmatian or fire costume and showed them to Parker.  She liked the fire idea.

Here is a pic of here trying on the fire skirt while I was making it.

 And the finished product!

It was our first time trick-or-treating in our neighborhood and it was great!  We had been going to the Nudds' house the last couple years.  We made a plan to meet up with the two other families we see at the school bus stop each morning, so all the kids had a blast.  It did get quite chilly though!
