Two Winter Grandma & Grandpa Visits

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit two times this winter.  The first was in February and they helped out while Parker's school was closed for President's Day/Winter Break.

I mean, how cute would these pictures be if Parker didn't have vampire teeth in her mouth??!!

The second visit was for my 40th birthday.  Greg and I got to have a night away and went out with some friends.  We had massages at the Spa at Del Monte and checked into the hotel.  Then we had lunch and rested before kicking off a Pittsford Pub crawl with 6 other couples.  It was a very fun night, but would have been better if I hadn't had such a nasty cold.  The following week I finally went to urgent care and was diagnosed with bronchitis and a sinus infection.  But first we celebrated St. Patty's Day!

During the visit, they were having lunch at the house and Parker helped Grandma make her own sandwich.  It had salami, turkey, mustard, and ketchup.  She was so excited to help and she still talks about that sandwich months later.  All future sandwiches must be just like it.

New Year's Eve 2016

As usual, the Johnson family came in town for the New Year's Eve weekend.  However, this time was even more special because Grandma Rhonda was with them!  We hosted a party so that Gennie and Rhonda could see family and friends without having to drive all over the place.  We also did our "Christmas" with the Johnsons, Papa G, and Sandy.

As usual, the kids had a blast.  Graham is finally at the age where he can hang with all of them.  He skipped his nap on both days because he just couldn't bear to miss out on any of the fun.
