Hanukkah Hoopla

Last week, all of the three-year old classes at Parker's school put on a little show where they sung some Hanukkah songs.  I think this is the kind of event that only the parents and immediate family think is cute, but we sure did!  To make it even more entertaining, the three groups same at different speeds and even sang entirely different songs at the same time.  Afterwards, all of the kids got a popsicle.

Since the event was at 4:00, we used the extra time to go get our Christmas tree.  Parker will be well versed in all types of holiday celebrations and cultures. Here are a couple pictures of her helping me decorate the tree.  In her Sophia dress, of course.

Last weekend, we held our 2nd Annual Holiday Party.  Santa made an appearance and both our kids sported their Mizzou gear to support the Tigers in the SEC Championship and their unfortunate loss.

Parker wouldn't sit on Santa's lap, but she finally warmed enough to stand near him and give a big grin for this picture.
