Florida

Last week we took a family vacation to Florida!  We met up with Greg's family at his Dad's second home in Rotonda, FL.  Rotonda is a golf community near Engelwood, FL.  This was our first visit to the house so we were excited to see it.  We were also attendimg a wedding of a close family friend of the Goforth's, Norbert.  Greg's Mom, Rhonda, drove down from New Port Richey to visit for the weekend too.  All of these happend to occur while Parker's school was closed for a couple days for Passover, so it couldn't have worked out better.

We had a direct flight from Rochester to Tampa and then a 1.5 hour drive to Larry's house.  Parker did so great during all of the travel.  She had a few fussy bouts during the trip, but they were short-lived and for good reason...she had three of her last teeth pop through in a 5 day period, ouch!

Of course, Parker loved the pool and had so much fun swimming alongside Clare.

Friday evening we hosted a party at the house for the wedding couple, Norbert & Colleen.  Here are some photos of the party and a few of the house.

On Saturday, Greg and I took Parker to the beach for a little bit.  She fell asleep on the way there but we woke her up after a cat nap and she loved playing in the sand and picking up shells (the water was a bit chilly).

Saturday evening was the wedding and we got an adult-night-out thanks to Grandma Rhonda watching the girls.  The wedding was a boat ride away on Palm Island.  It was a gorgeous day and such a fun time.

On Sunday evening, we all took a drive out to Boca Grande and had dinner at Miller's Dockside (including four orders of ahi tuna nachos, yum).

Here are some other random pictures from the trip, great memories!
