Christmas 2012

We drove to St. Louis for Christmas this year and therefore opened our gifts with Parker the weekend before Christmas.  She got a little table and chair set and chalkboard/dry erase easel.  Here are some photos of her eating at the table, using the easel and of our Christmas tree.

The decision to drive turned out to be a bad one, as we drove through one snow storm on the way there and followed in the path of another on the way back. This made for a longer and more stressful travel period, but Parker did amazingly well. She loved pushing the luggage cart at the hotel and we even went for a swim the morning on our way back.

Otis stayed in Rochester with Papa G for Christmas and we missed him terribly. Parker even asked about him the first morning in the hotel when we awoke (she can say Otis now). But I will daresay he had a much more enjoyable holiday playing in the snow then riding in the back of our Subaru.

Of course, while in St. Louis we had a wonderful time! Parker had so much fun playing with her Grandparents, Aunt Annie & Uncle Jason, cousins Jack & Charlie, numerous second cousins, and visiting friends. We even went to the Museum of Transportation and played at the Creation Station.
