Easter 2017

Since we knew we would be spending Easter in Florida (at the Magic Kingdom, more specifically), we made sure to dye some eggs before our trip.  The Easter Bunny did stop by our house while we were gone and left each kid a chocolate bunny!

Snow Storm March 2017

The week before the snowstorm, we had a crazy windy day.  People were out of power for days and schools even had to close because so many trees were down.  We did lose one tree in our back yard, but did not lose power.

The power did go out at the Y, so I picked up Parker and Ben

 

 

 

 Then the next week came the snow!  School closed again for two days, it was amazing watching it come down.

 

Clayton Visit March 2017

For their Spring Break, the Clayton clan decided to visit us!  As always, the cousins had a fantastic time together.  We didn't have a whole lot planned, except a visit to the Science Museum on Monday, but due to a huge snowstorm headed our way, their trip was cut short.  Their Tuesday flight was cancelled Sunday night, so they got creative and drove their rental minivan to Pittsburgh and got a flight out of there.  It made for a very long day and we were sad that they had to leave early, but it was some snowstorm!  We got 26 inches, more on that later....
