We asked our go-to photographer, Kristen Koppers, to do some newborn photos of Graham along with some 2.5 year of Parker and the whole family. The weather was iffy, so we decided to have her come to our house. We did end up getting some outside, so that was great. We were calling Kristen The Baby Whisperer because of how she got Graham to continually go back to sleep after putting him in each of these poses...it was amazing! Parker was quite the little ham and had so much fun showing off for the camera. Here are some of our favorites:

Graham - 1 Month Old
Graham is one month old today!
Graham is a pretty good sleeper and eater. During the day, he is hungry every three hours, but at night he usually goes 4 hours with an occasional 5 hour stint thrown in. When awake, he will let us put him down on a blanket, in the bouncy seat or swing for a short time, but he generally will want to be held shortly thereafter.

All in all, Graham is a sweetheart. He loves to be cuddled and calms down right away when someone picks him up. Parker is great with him and always wants to hug and kiss her baby brother.

Johnson Visit
The Johnsons came in to meet their new nephew/cousin last weekend. We were so excited that we have enough room for them to stay with us now. Parker had a blast playing with Cate and Clare and Aunt Gennie bonded with Graham with lots of snuggles.
On Friday night, Larry and Sandy came over for dinner. The girls stayed up way too late and then Parker woke at her usual time, 7:00 am. This made for a pretty cranky girl on Saturday. Greg and Eric went for a bike ride along the canal and into downtown while Gennie and I took the kids for a walk. The walk was pretty much a disaster. It ended with me football-carrying a crying Parker while Graham on my chest in the baby bjorn. Needless to say, we went right home and Parker took a nice nap. The evening was better. We went to the Lilac Festival and the Nudds family met us there. The kids enjoyed the rides, while the adults enjoyed the food and beer. Then we all watched The Wailers show.
On Sunday, Larry and Sandy came over for brunch and then the Johnsons hit the road. Here are some photos from the weekend and one very special video:

Mother's Day 2014
I only have one photo from the occasion, but I had a very nice Mother's Day. We went out to breakfast at one of our favorite places, Village Bakery. I was able to enjoy some kid-free shopping for an hour before lunch. Finally, we had dinner at Papa G and Sandy's. Parker fell asleep on the way there, so this photo was taken just after she woke up.
We had a delicious meal and fun playing outside. Graham enjoyed a long snuggle with Papa G on the swing in their yard.

Aunt Annie Visit
After my parents left, we had another very special visitor. Aunt Annie arrived that Sunday, sans children, to help out during our second week at home. Parker had so much fun playing with her and Graham got lots of snuggles, of course. I appreciated the company and all of the little extras, loads of laundry magically done, dishes suddenly clean, etc.
Annie took Parker to the zoo one day.

Papa G and Sandy picked up Parker and took her to dinner one night, while Greg stayed home with Graham and Annie and I enjoyed and all-too-rare dinner out by ourselves!
